Children enjoy being outside in all types of weather and moving around. With a good hat on the head, the ears are protected when it's really cold and windy and the child stays warm. Children can also be sensitive to heat and the sun's rays, so in any case the slightly smaller children need to wear a thinner cotton cap even during spring and summer.


Which hat should the child wear?

  • Spring: A thinner beanie for children if it's not cold, brushed inside or merino wool beanie.
  • Summer: Small children should wear a swimming cap or a baby cap as protection from the sun.
  • Autumn: In early autumn, a thinner hat with a brushed inside/fleece is enough, when it gets colder, a warmer hat that is a little thicker is needed.
  • Winter: When it's cold, a warm woolen hat or a baby winter hat is needed. Fleece or knitted hats are preferred.

9 months–2 years: 48–50 cm
2-9 years: 52-54 cm
9–11 years: 56–58 cm
